So what do these three images all have in common? 🤔
Each one represents some of the biggest myths in history! 📚✨
1) "Vikings wore horned helmets." 🛡️ Despite the popular image of Vikings wearing horned helmets, there is no historical evidence to support this. In fact, archaeological findings suggest that Viking helmets were typically simple and practical, designed for protection in battle, without horns or elaborate adornments. The horned helmet stereotype likely originated in artistic depictions and opera performances in the 19th century.
2) "Bulls hate the colour red." 🐂🟥 In traditional bullfighting, the matador waves a red cape, but it's not the colour that incites the bull's aggression. Bulls are actually colourblind to red. They charge because of the movement of the cape, not its colour.
3) "The Great Wall of China is the only man-made structure visible from space." 🌍🚀 Despite its impressive length, the Great Wall of China is not the only man-made structure visible from space, nor is it visible to the naked eye from low Earth orbit. Other structures such as cities, highways, and airports are also visible under the right conditions.
