2025 ANZAC Day

Anzac Day –  One of the most iconic days in Australia's calendar, a day to reflect on the courage, endurance, and camaraderie of Anzac service men and women, and to remember those who have lost their lives in service. 

On this day I reflect on the achievements of my late grandfather Michael Portelli who served with Malta in World War 2, and my late father Joseph Spiteri, who served in a naval career that would span 32 years at over 20 ships and bases across England and Australia, eventually achieving the esteemed rank of Lieutenant Commander

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: 

 Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. 

 At the going down of the sun and in the morning 

 We will remember them.
