There is rarely any fat in our Ignite workshops. We usually have less than an hour or two to get through a very long list of initiatives. So it is very important, no matter how senior or opinionated the participants are, if the conversation is getting too detailed or going for too long – we need to stop it. This can be difficult because sometimes the discussed initiatives can be quite sensitive and need to be thought through (particularly when we have run Ignites with very community focussed government organisations). So I usually apologise in advance at the start of an Ignite for what will likely happen and that someone will be rudely cut-off. Keeping momentum is very important. #200Ignites AdaptivOrg + Seisma SEISMA GROUP
